THE story
I came for a visit.
I stayed for the mountains.
I’m Dutch. I moved to Kraków over a decade ago and never quite found a reason to leave, mostly because I keep making new discoveries that make it impossible to think about anywhere else.
I’ve spent those years on motocross bikes in the mud, on MTB wheels through the mountains, and generally anywhere that requires more effort than a tour bus can manage.
Married to a Krakowian, her family has lived in the city for generations, so between the two of us, we have the region covered from every angle. She organises tours and runs Polish cooking workshops and home dinner experiences for those who want to get under the skin of the city beyond the trails.
I can happily say we’ve well and truly settled here now. Life with our little crazy family of four, outdoors as much as possible. Every season here offers something different.

I split my time between IT strategy, getting muddy on two wheels and roaming the unknown. Off Course came out of simple passion: the region around Kraków is spectacular, and most visitors never experience half of it besides the standard itinerary.
Growing up on a campsite that my parents ran in a small village in France is what first sparked it. I’m running Off Course because taking people on adventures that they didn’t know existed, and watching their reaction, is genuinely one of the better things I enjoy doing in life. While giving a local experience that really hit home.

How we operate
Personal passion
Every route we offer we’ve ridden and discovered ourselves, often many times. No copy-pasted itineraries. If a trail is closed or weather makes a better option, we adapt on the spot.
You’re in good hands
Every route we take you on has been assessed with the same mindset: would I do this with people I genuinely care about? If the answer’s no, we don’t go.
Small groups
We cap adventure trips at 8 people maximum. For us, this is the right group size for a real experience.
